Satan tries to captivate us in our trials, but when God captivates our hearts, it will be sweet revenge on the enemy.
Before Adam’s Fall, God gave him the earth. The serpent could not live in the spirit of Adam because Adam occupied the mind of God. He was God’s thinking and presence in the earth.
After his Fall, satan the serpent gave the world to a fallen Adam. Satan has held the world in captivity ever since to use our fallen state to prevent us from inheriting the earth.
Christ came to set the captives free. As we submit His Lordship, He will bring us into conformity with His Word and return our captivity.

We orbit the Sun of Righteousness to carry out God's thoughts in the earth.
As we orbit, we experience different seasons of change. Sometimes it's the winter of discontent, summer’s productivity, spring elegance, and fall's blaze of glory.
Whatever season we find ourselves in, we continue to orbit to produce leaves and fruit as trees of righteousness.

There comes a season through which every believer must pass as he draws close to God. Our seasons involve various experiences and situations. Sorrow comes, but we do not define our lives with sadness. Weeping is part of life, but life is not all weeping. Everything has its place under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3:4).
As we walk on in God, the Lord will take us into places where our vulnerabilities will show. He will ask us to do the impossible, which will increase our feelings of inadequacy and insecurity. But as we learn to walk by faith, God will demonstrate that He is who He says He is.

The Lord keeps the revelation of His glory bound up in practical situations. Therefore, He is against us getting out on theoretical lines or technicalities.
Although the New Testament has a technique, we cannot merely extract the technique and apply it to get out of those situations.
Christ has to be our glory from day to day.
